吧 (ba): suggestions and checking
吧 at the end makes a suggestion ("let's ...") or checks a guess ("..., right?"): 我们走吧.
我们 + verb + 吧 is the everyday "let's ...".
Statement + 吧？ asks for confirmation of something you already think is true: 你是老师吧？
吧 is softer than an order: 你坐吧 "go ahead and sit".
