Possessives: mi, tu, su, nuestro
Mi casa (my house), tu coche (your car), su libro (his / her / their / your book). Add -s for plural things: mis amigos.
The possessive matches the thing owned, not the owner: mis libros "my books".
Su can mean his, her, its, their or formal your. Use de él / de ella if it is unclear.
Nuestro also matches gender: nuestra casa.
