Stroke order basics
Characters are written in a fixed stroke order: top to bottom, left to right, horizontal before vertical.
The basic rules: top before bottom, left before right, horizontal before vertical, outside before inside, and close a box last.
Correct order makes characters easier to remember and to read in handwriting.
In the drills, trace each character stroke by stroke. The engine checks the order and direction.
